![]() Keep your family at home as a casino is no place for kids. The ceilings were tall and exits were well marked. There were a lot of penny slots and even those required a $2.00 "investment". If you could put a quarter in a machine and give it a whirl we would have done it, but all these new machines are "coinless". Of course we bought a dozen to take with. There were lots of restaurants and shops, and my husband's favorite - a Krispy Kreme bakery. ![]() Anyway, each section of the place was entirely differently and done "bigger than life" in a Las Vegas kind of way. They have 4 (I think) different casinos: the casino of the wind, the casino of the earth, the wolf den, and the casino of the sky (maybe). After we had been inside, the parking titles made more sense. We thought the parking was a little confusing, but managed to find a spot. WOW! You're in this very rural area and then you see this silver skyscraper with interesting angles rising up from the flat valley floor. ![]() Since we were nearby and had extra time we decided to drive over and check out the Mohegan Sun. We had been to Foxwoods in years past, and felt that in size it was amazing, but not that special.
